It's been a while since I got on here and did the blogging thing. It's been a bit mental at home lately. My head is all over the place!
Baby #3 is going to be here in 3 weeks (yesterday). That's kinda scary, I don't know that I'm ready to do this all again. (Of course I am. Too late now, anyway! LOL)
I am really struggling to cope with the boys by myself at the moment. I am feeling really overwhelmed and just not up to it. So, I have enrolled them in Childcare. That needed to be underlined because I always thought I'd never do that..... Shock horror..... Send my children to someone else to deal with. But, I really think we will all benefit from it. I need time alone and they need other people to give them attention and talk to and get used to. Hunter especially will benefit from it. Making friends, learning new things. Levi, I really feel guilty about though, He's so young! He looks so much older than he is because he's tall and solid, but he's just a baby. Oh, stop it. He'll be fine! *sob*
I have enrolled them for 2 days a week to start. I think we'll do that for the next 3-4 weeks, then drop back to one day. Frankly I don't think I could afford more than that!
The other thing that's been happening is Hunter's hearing test today. I have been a bit concerned about his speech, only because he jibbers alot sometimes and hasn't gotten much clearer. We went to audiology this morning and the doctor(?) says there's alot of either wax or fluid around the ear drum. She reffered us to an ear, throat, nose specialist to get that cleaned out and see if that helps.
Yay, results!
Well, you would think so wouldn't you? No such luck. Apparently by going public it may take 18 months to be seen!!!! - Just to clean the wax out!
SO I have to call and find out how much it will cost me to just take him in there and pay for it or consider Private health insurance.
That and everything with B is really hard at the moment and I am kind of burying myself in crafty things so I don't have time to think about any of it. I am feeling a bit like I will explode at any second, and I am being horrible to everyone. Let's hope I can get over this slump and get on with it all.

Projects....
Following my resolution to have all my Christmas gifts done early this year, I have been busy painting. (That and the fact that these things were on super sale ;)). SO here are a few things I've been working on. I may or may not show you the finished products, you may have to wait til Christmas.

This material I am hoping to turn into something for gifts as well, I was thinking of doing jammies with an appliqued singlet.
Oh the cradle is probably for a birthday present in May, just getting it done before I have a newborn in the house!

Happy Birthday Baby Boys!
Gosh, this week really plays with my emotions. Levi turned one on Tuesday. One. You've been here for an entire year! I can't believe it. I feel as though I've always known you but that I don't know enough about you. You amaze me. You are such a beautiful boy. Full of love and man, are you a cheeky child. Oi. You will do something that you know you're not supposed to, so I say no and you just smile and laugh and turn around and do it again! You are much "easier" than Hunter was, but I suppose that's the way we were with you. We were much more confident with our big man and you are much more confident in return. Levi, you are such a loveable and loving child and I love you more as each second passes and every new facet of your personality is revealed.
Hunter's birthday is today. He is 3. This makes me simultaneously so happy and yet so sad, because soon he'll be grown up! It also really scares me that we haven't "done" enough. I am constantly questioning whether I played with him, talked with him, taught him enough. I know I cuddle him and tell him I love him enough but am I with him enough? Just being there?
Oh, I have to try harder I think. I'm always ready with an excuse... the dishes, the washing needs to be done... "I'll just do this, then I'll play"
Starting this afternoon I will stop doing that and just be with my children, I know there's a poem somewhere. I will find it and print it and read it every day.
Anyway, back to Hunter's birthday...
When did he get so big? When did he get to learn everything he knows? He astounds me with his knowledge and to think that he still has so much to learN! He knows colours and shapes and some letters and numbers. He can sing theme songs from his favourtie shows and some hot 40 songs like "too late to apologise" and one gwen song we hear alot who's name escapes me.
My beautiful gentle, sensitive boy who gets so upset when people get hurt. My little man who hates changes and goodbyes. My baby who still can't say I love you properly but gets his point across. The boy who hates naptime and is probably going to give it up soon. Mr Picky when it comes to food and will not touch potato (!) unless it's a chip. My boy with my fair "pasty" skin who will have to be very careful in the sun forever. You are such a cautious little boy when it comes to some things and a daredevil with others! My love for you grows with every breath you take and I can't wait to share your life with you.

We're going to the zoo....
Well, alright. We've been to the zoo!
It was so much fun. I went completely overboard as I tend to do. And of course, because it was something that I organised, it rained. What is it with that? Our first family vacation, in SUMMER, it rained too! Oh well, at least this time we didn't crack the shits and just go home. Alright, I may have had a little cry in the car on the way up worrying that it'd be us and my mother sitting at the zoo with 70 sandwiches, cupcakes, honey joys, biscuits and dip. BUT.... it was actually a successful party.

There was about 20 of us there, Sam and family from eb, Kristy and family from high school. Brad's sister Kristie and family, Mum, Dad, Saxon. To be honest there was the perfect number because I was able to socialise and chat to everyone.
So even though it rained I had a great day. The boys also really enjoyed it. It was a shame that most of the animals that we saw were asleep and Hunter couldn't see them but we will go again. It was easy to get to (Brad actually remembered the way from when he went with school and his parents!!) and Brad was fantastically helpful- making sandwiches and carrying eskies. He didn't whinge once about the weather either!

The Divine Miss M
Well, Miki Moo is 4 years old. Gosh, this child is beautiful. She is going to be a stunner.
We went to her birthday party today. She came racing out to the car to see us and the very first thing out of her mouth was "did you bring me a present?"
Good thing she is so cute!!
Here are the pics I tookof my boys:
Trying to get H to look at the camera is near impossible lately!
I know this is blurry but I love it.

9 weeks?!!?
That's how long we have to wait to meet our 3rd son. Not long, is it? In 9 short weeks I will be holding my newest baby boy in my arms. I can NOT wait.
On the other hand, I have 9 weeks to get organised and ready for a newborn to be in the house. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Train ride!
Hunter loves trains. Every time we pass one he yells out "See srain?" Srain obviously being train!
Yesterday I took Hunter and Levi on a train to Melbourne to meet a lady from EB Cheeks (Angela) and her gorgeous son Adam. Gosh he's tiny- especially compared to my monster Levi!! It was so nice to get out of the house and sit in the sun and enjoy talking to an adult! Hunter had an absolute ball at the playground and Levi was enjoying eating all the bark and sand.
I don't know that I will attempt the trains again with a pram on Sunday. Plus waiting for an hour cos I just missed the train back to Geelong was a bit cr@p. But... both boys slept overnight for 12 hours so how can I complain??
On Wednesday I will have my doctor's appointment to find out when my c/s will be scheduled. Funny, this pregnancy seems to have flown by. I can't believe I am 30 weeks in 2 days! Scary!
