New house

So we have moved. We decided to move one week, looked at houses the next week and moved in the next! Yep we are fast. When we decide something we do it!

Ok, so I had no idea what to put as a title :P

While pg with Raife I got itchy fingers and decided to teach myself to crochet. Well, I lie, I used Mr Google and taught myself from online tutorials.

I would like to make more but make the next ones a bit bigger and fatter, unfortunately I seem to be over making them!! Shame about the shitload of wool I bought!

The next project I'd like to attempt is a quilt but I am too scared that I'm not accurate enough in my cutting etc and I'll end up with a crooked ugly quilt. Maybe I can get scrap material from the op shop and attempt one with that? Plus it would have to be REALLY simple. Hmmm..........

What else is new? Oh, we are moving. That's right, we are moving house on Thursday. Have I mentioned yet how much I HATE moving. I hate packing, cleaning, the physical moving things, then I hate working out what goes where and unpacking. I also hate organising everything cutting off supplies etc. *sigh* Oh well, it will all be over in a week and I'll wonder what all the fuss was about.

Well what a nightmare yesterday waas. I had to cut that post short because Levi fell/jumped off my knee and banged his chin on the desk. Poor baby bled all over my shirt too!

Anyway, we have mice living with us. They are uninvited and we can't for the life of us get rid of the beggars. I am hoping the real estate will pay for an exterminator, because it's just gross to see the little thing(s??) sticking it's head out from under the heater or running from the boys' room. I'm seriously contemplating moving, but I desperately want to pay off these debts and get some savings together before paying more money in rent. Gah, I could drive myself crazy having this conversation over and over again, so I'll stop now and leave you with a pic of a monkey I crocheted for an eb friends' baby.

Whining

At the moment, my beloved second child is driving me crazy. He is just whining and whinging. The noise is enough to drive one insane.......
At playgroup today he was fine but as soon as he woke from his nap it started again. Also, he just wants to sit on me ALL the time.
I think he's bored. Ah, if only I had the energy to do something with him today.

Busy

I feel busy, even though I am not doing a lot. I feel like all my time is taken up with very important things but that I get nothing done. Nothing is finished, nothing is achieved. The house is a mess, the kids are neglected and I don't even have the excuse of having a settled baby to explain it away. I think I'm tired. Or lazy!!
Hmmphh this is really not a happy post is it? I feel happy. Most of the time. Maybe I just picked the wrong time to do this. Oop Raife is awake anyway. Hungry again. I'll bbl.
