So my sis and I are off to Market NEXT (edited - oops) weekend. Here are the details:

If you are a vintage lover or collector this is the place to be on Sunday 8th February from 1-7pm.The stall's will take place in the studio's on the second level and one huge stall can be found in the courtyard on the bar level.There will be dj's,a bbq and drink specials plus extra room 4 you to bask in the sunshine as the rooftop is now open.This time we have a bigger selection of men's vintage/designer clothes available.You guy's have been neglected in the past but not this time.

Birthday week...

So the final birthday of the week belongs to my eldest boy. Hunter is 4 today. (We celebrated yesterday though.)

My biggest boy is now 4. It has been a mega year for him. He started daycare in Jan last year and totally thrived in the different environment. We moved house. Dad became a stay at home dad, and Mummy went back to work. He learnt to use the toilet. He started talking a whole lot more, and much more clearly.

Big things.

Hunter is a very interesting child. He can go from one extreme to the other very quickly. He can be the most loving brother one minute, then punching his brother the next. He can go from incredibly angry to laughing so much he is crying the next. He is a fidgeter, can not just sit still.

He is very clever, loves to know the ins and outs of everything. He's a very funny little boy. He has fantastic rhythm when playing his guitar or singing.

He is a very beautiful, loving, wary, cautious, funny little guy and I love him very much and am veyr grateful that he is here in our lives challenging us with every step.

I do feel fulfilled and like my dreams are coming true though, that's a good birthday wish!

My beautiful middle child

Today is Levi's birthday.

2 years ago today my gorgeous, calm child was born.

He was and is such an easy going child. So placid and just laid back. If he were any more laid back he'd be dead.

He's just lovely. So funny and very clever.

He is much more articulate than his older brother. He talks ALOT. All the time, question after question.

He calls himself Leli. He is very generous and giving.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful baby boy. It's been a pleasure watching you grow and learn.

Free motion quilting

A gorgeous friend of mine who is very creative herself asked me to make a quilt for her newly born niece in India.

Obviously I said "Of course I can." She sent some fabric to me, gorgeous Farmer's Market and I got to sewing, then I looked at the pics she'd sent of what she wanted and saw the stippling on the quilt.

I quietly shat myself, then ordered a darning foot. It arrived, I practised for a while then decided to jump right in. After unpicking those two blocks (sigh) I tried again with bigger swirls.
